Ingredients
Gulab Jamuns
- Khoya - 250gms
- maida- 3tbsps
- baking powder- half tsp + 1tbsp milk
- 7-8 elaichis
- Rose water
- 1tsp, lemon
- half TSP
- saffron stands.

Syrup
- 11/2 cup of Sugar
- 2 cups of water
- elaichi powder
- rose water
- lemon
- saffron

Method
- Knead khoya well for 5 mins so that there are no lumps.

- Add 3tbsps of maida and kneed for another 3 mins making the dough soft.

- Add half tsps baking powder with a table spoon of milk and kneed again.

- Make small balls and with a thumb push and stuffing it with elaichi powder 1kismis and charoli.

- Make the ball round and smooth and pur it in medium hot ghee to fry till it turns a dark brown colour.

Syrup-

- Boil water and sugar together. Once they form the required consistency add elaichi powder, rose water, lemon juice and saffron .
